Hi there

Middlemarch - George Elliot

MiddlemarchMiddlemarch by George Eliot
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have never experienced the english language employed in such a beautiful and inspiring format before. I mean, I would ready sentences, and then think to myself, "Wow! That was a sentence! I'm gonna re-read that just to admire it againn."
The story was, well, it was a story; pretty typical for this type/period of novel, the characters and evolution were nice and engaging, but nothing remarkable. But the way it's written is what really made it, and the author interestingly weaves together storyline with narrative 3rd party observation and other perspectives, making for an even more engrossing navigation of the text.
