Without fail
the State of Michigan government offices will mess up your paperwork 90% of the time, and then will never provide confirmation that anything was completed unless you follow up, even though they tell you that you don’t need to. They also consistently have the longest hold times before anyone answers of anywhere I have ever called.
Everyone is always really nice, so that’s great, but it would be good if you could count on things to go as planned instead of the opposite, especially when tax liabilities are at stake.
